“I worked with a variety of services and assistants to care for my elderly mother, and Care Assist was by far the most professional, caring, and comprehensive service we found. Janis is incredibly personable, and truly cares about her clients and their families. Her experience as a nurse brings a unique skill set to her caregiver assignments and guidance for the patient’s family. Billing and payroll was a breeze. The process of interviewing and choosing a caregiver was painless. Should I ever have the need to hire in-home caregivers again, my first call will be to CareAssist.”
“Care Assist Services has been a reliable cohort to my family in caring for an elderly family member. The staff and leadership are responsive, sensitive and totally professional. In fact, they go the extra mile and are timely in responding to all issues. The care givers are empathetic and supportive without being intrusive. I am very impressed with Care Assist. There should be more services like this!” – Bruce Fagin via Facebook
“It has been three years since my father died, but I am still the care-giver for my husband, who has dementia and other problems. He’s still at home, and I still belong to a care-giver support group. After hearing a lot of stories from my peers about the care-giving that takes place in assisted living settings, I have a renewed appreciation for the people that you sent to my dad’s house during those many months in Costa Mesa. I am glad that I did appreciate them then, but now I know just how much superior your people were in their training, their compassion, and their reliability compared to what can go on in these other settings.
Although I have not hired home-care people recently, I did have some help from an agency a few years ago. Nothing like 10-hour sitting, just for four hours on one afternoon a week. We would “get used to” a person, and she would disappear for one reason or another. The relationship I had hoped to nurture and rely on just never happened. I had hoped to expand the number of hours, but it never worked out because of that agency’s turnover. It was dismaying!
I hope you are well, and that your business prospers with the same kind of good people that you were able to send to my father.” – Susan Stacy
“Janis has been a great resource for our family. She and her caring team at CareAssist Services recently helped us take care of my mother-in-law. What a blessing for us to have professional help that we could trust. We couldn’t have done it without them. Mom could not be in the hospital any longer, but we did not have the ability to care of her ourselves. The sweet aides at CareAssist took such a weight off our shoulders; they came to Mom’s home in San Clemente and took such wonderful care of her.” – Susie Potter
“Dear Janice, Michael and I want to let you know how much you and your wonderful caregivers are appreciated by us and our family. You have gone over and above duty to provide loving, nurturing and clinically excellent care to our dad. I want to especially recognize Funnie and Michelle for their kind and compassionate care, but you and the whole team are highly commended. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.” – Debbie & Michael Finn
“Thank you. My brother and Joel and I will never forget the care and friendship Maria had with my mother in her last month. She was able to pass on with friendship, support and dignity. Also, thanks for the care and compassion from Karen and Yuza.” – The Kleinfeld Family
“Our father had a severe case of dementia and we hired CareAssist Services for their in-home caregiving. We lived out of state, so CareAssist was our father’s support, and for over 3 years they not only managed his medications, took him to doctor appointments, but also worked with him in memory care. Our father could be quite difficult, but never once did I worry about his safety or his care. I would recommend CareAssist Services to anyone needing this type of special caregiving.” – Scott O’Shea
“Today, Terri reminded me that I had not informed you that we were moving my mother to Arizona. Terri’s last official day was yesterday, Thursday the 16th. Terri has been amazing. What a gift for my Mom and for my family. I can not thank you enough for matching my mother with this amazing woman. She has the patience of Job. And she was so accepting of my Mother and all of her issues related to her illness. My mother considered her a dear friend, never realizing that she was a paid caregiver. In addition, she gave my brother and I such peace of mind. We could never thank her enough.” – The Welty Family
